Well we all started off for this long and steep trek down...it was all wet and slippery with water pouring in now and then...it was really steep..but we trekked down quite easily...making our way down through short-cuts and crossing small streams and falls...it was awesome!!

We found this restaurant by KA Tourism and had double-omelet and one (Tequila) shot of coffee each...now all charged up..myself, Chandel, Sandy and Harry agreed to give company to Appu for the trek down to the falls while Babaulal, Lambu and Gaurav stayed back to enjoy the view form above...

Here we clicked some cool pics with Jog at the back drop and did some site seeing.

Apna Appu Trekker form his "sources" came to know that there is a way down to reach at the foot of the falls and pitched this idea to the junta to go for this nice 2-3 hrs trek, but everybody slammed his idea and we started searching for some place where we can have "garam pakode" n chai...poor Appu was shattered by this very idea of coming so far just for having "garam pakode" and enjoying the weather!!!

Well after getting fresh n all we headed for Jog Falls. Its just a 1-2 hrs drive from Sagar...we reached there at around 9.

The weather was cloudy and it was drizzling now n then. We asked Akbar to park the limo and have some sleep and rest of us went to check out what the heck is the deal with this Asia's highest falls anyway!! But when we reached the "view pont" we were in awe of the shear beauty of nature!!!

At around 6 o'Clock we reached Shimoga Distt...where Akbar recommended us to get a lodge and get fresh...but we thought that its too early and should get some more sleep ;) , so we asked him to stop at Sagar (around 75 km north-west of Shimoga).

We reached Sagar at around 7 O'clock...the outside view was awesome!!

Well now at Sagar we have to find some lodge so that we can get fresh...but we didn't get any!! It seems that we have to book them well in advance....but our wories vanished the minute we saw "Sulabh Sauchalya" near the bus-stand :)

Since myself and Gaurav were one of the first (lucky!!) ones to shead the load off so (with no particular reason) we went for lodge hunt. Since we didn't get any good deal so we kept the hunt on. After some 1 hr of lodge-hunt we realized that since we have come to the other end of the town we should better go back...with no phone-network we were totally cut off from the gang...otherwise we thought that we'll ask them to get the limo here...anyway..we walked back some 2 kms only to find Babulal and others all charged up to beat us to death as they thought that we have been kidnapped and were about to go to the police to register a FIR!!!

It was around 1 AM when we stopped at some arbit place to piss off some beer...Babulal also pissed with all of us.

Now at around 3 - 03:30 AM somebody's again under pressure...and the silence of night was broken by the words "mutta aa raha hai!!" by none other than apna Babulal...bloody just half bottle of beer created some tank full of moot in Babulal's belly!!

Anyway we had to stop again and clicked this pic at a roadside shop.

After lots of discussions and arguments we finally decided to go to Jog Falls. We started off in our Tempo "Limousine" Traveller on friday night...the wheels must've rolled just 2 km when Babulal saw "theka sharab desi" and stopped the van to pick a few chilled KFs. :)
We all guzzled one bottle each but apna Babulal felt dizzy just after half bottle and gave it to Appu. Now all "high" and charged up we all slept while Akbar (our Limo driver) drove us out of traffic clogged roads of Bangalore towards Shimoga...
